  • You can find the Friends of the Richmond Public Library at all Library programs. They help at author readings, poetry slams, First Friday Art openings and Summer Reading events. Our volunteers put in countless hours to organize and run our bi-annual Book Sale. We have also helped to fund and organize exhibits such as 2012’s “Why Children’s Books: Inspiring Generations.”

Let’s face it: We love libraries, and believe that the Richmond Public Library is an invaluable asset in our community that needs to be supported, nurtured and promoted.

If you would like to donate your time to help with one of our programs, fill out the form below, or contact us at Friends@RVALibraryFriends.org.
